Phew! Things have been BUSY. I've got a shop update coming tomorrow if I can get my butt in gear, I've been doing oodles of custom orders, I've got a new straight-stitch machine to break in, and I've been testing up a storm! And speaking of testing, here's a new pattern I can finally share! The Dash About Cross Body Bag by Emkie Designs!
I absolutely love the slim profile and shoulder strap of this cross body! The pattern comes in two sizes, small and large. The large is perfect for someone like me who WANTS a small bag but also doesn't want to give up anything (I myself have a giant wallet, four lipsticks, phone...two pairs of sunglasses...etc).
The sew up was a breeze! The instructions were clear and concise, which is always welcome in a pattern. The Dash About features a front pocket with tab closure, zip pockets on the inside and back, and an adjustable strap! Emma also gives instructions for right or left handed strap placement.
Before this bag, I hadn't done too many Emkie Designs patterns yet but had been drooling over all the beautiful Hippo Hobo pictures I see everywhere on Instagram. The Dash About is just as beautiful and the perfect gateway drug to get me started on more of her lovely designs!
